AUCTION TO BENEFIT THE FIGHT AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCER
Unique helmet signed by Ingemar Stenmark
After last year’s success with the auction of a specially designed helmet with a Formula 1 theme, we are now topping it off with an auction of this unique helmet for the benefit of the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
Porsche Carrera Cup driver Elias Adestam will auction a unique helmet, based on ski icon Ingemar Stenmark’s legendary caps, during the 2024 racing season. The auction takes place within the framework of Adestam’s charity initiative Raising Against Cancer. The helmet is designed by Adestam himself with approval from Sätila of Sweden, which for over four decades has produced accessories and garments with the current pattern, and will be signed by Ingemar Stenmark.
Elias Adestam conducted a similar auction in 2022, when a specially designed helmet with a Formula 1 theme fetched SEK 56,000. The amount went to Gunnar Nilsson’s Cancer Foundation in full that time.
– The purpose of Raising Against Cancer is to use racing as a platform to be able to do something good at the same time, says Elias Adestam.

Raising Against Cancer
We have all been directly or indirectly affected by cancer, and I myself have recently been forced to confront it in my own family, says Elias. It feels like a matter of course to try to contribute as best you can to support research and save more lives.
